The nectarine words ‘Amar Chhaa Maraan’ were heard spoken by Bhagawaan Gopinathji before attained his Mahasamadhi in the year 1968, when he was surrounded by his devotees (including his kith and kin). The expression sounds a truism- the immortal doesn’t die; that is what it literally means and conveys unequivocally. One doesn’t immediately wake up to its deep and wide implications. We are highly indebted and grateful to the writers who have painstakingly come up with learned articles that they have contributed to the making of the volume ‘Amar Chhaa Marran’, being brought out by us for both scholars and earnest readers across the globe. We sincerely believe that, keeping in view the richness and readability of the write-ups, this valued work will be found highly useful, possibly even indispensable, by readers in general.

THE HYMN TO THE GURU
God’s grace comes by stages. At the first stage, the spiritual aspirant feels that the Ultimate Truth is God. Who is approachable by devotion? At the second stage, God appears before him as the Guru, devotion to whom then takes the place of the devotion to God. And by the devotion to the Guru, the disciple attains the highest form of grace, the experience of the Real Self in its egoless state. This is the third and last stage. It is said that Bhagawaanji possessed a manuscript copy of the Guru Geeta, which He used to recite regularly during the early stages of His spiritual discipline. It is an ancient Shaastra, which, among other things, mentions the qualities and the greatness of a true guru. In this shaastra, it is also mentioned that a regular repetition of it earns the disciple great merit and his guru’s abundant grace that lead him to the final beatitude. This publication will enable not only the saadhakas but also other religious minded people to understand the shaastric injunctions with regard to the concept of Guru
